The fourth week of the Clausura of the Latin American League of League of Legends. As we reported in the following note, the meeting between Estral Esports and Rainbow7 was essential to know the club that would lead the rest of the competition.
Not only were they playing for the first place in the table of the first phase, but they were fighting for the qualification to the playoffs. Well, R7 managed to secure two consecutive victories at the end of the second day of week 4, which gave him enough points to be in the top six.
The first match ended at minute 38, a long game for what we have seen in the LLA. Oddie, the Peruvian player, took the last kill of the game to help his team push the center lane and thus destroy the nexus.
In game two, R7 again took the red or higher side and repeated the formula of Rell and Kai’Sa in the bottom lane and dominated from the start thanks to early help from Oddie. The rainbow team thus closes a week with celebration.
LLA Week 5 Matches
Tuesday
- Leviathan vs. All Knights – 5:00 p.m.
- R7 vs. Infinity – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday
- Estral Esports vs. Team Aze – 5:00 p.m.
- Six Karma vs. Isurus – 7:00 pm
Estral will have to beat Team Aze 2-0 if they want to follow in R7’s footsteps. However, he has gotten into the fight for the top positions in the league. At the moment, he maintains six wins and two losses.
Let’s remember that only six teams will qualify for the playoffs and one of them will be the one that will represent Latin America in the World Cup, Worlds 2023. Those that occupy the first four places will benefit from the elimination table.
While the last two will start from the lower bracket or losers bracket. Once there, the losing teams will be eliminated from the competition.
