League of Legends is by far one of the most popular games in the world and Coca-Cola is one of the most consumed drinks on our planet. What would happen if both products were combined? The answer is a new limited edition drink.
Through a statement, Riot Games announced that it has reached an agreement with Coca-Cola for the launch of a new limited-edition flavor from Coca-Cola Creations. This is the new Coca-Cola Ultimate Without Sugar, which wants to deliver the taste of experience points (+XP).
“We are excited for players to try the new +XP flavor, a unique and personalized collaboration with Coca-Cola, a globally recognized brand loved by millions,” said David Mulhall, director of business development and partnerships at Riot Games. “They share many of the player-centric values we have at Riot, and we are honored to be the first video game collaboration for Coca-Cola Creations.”
This is the first time that Coca-Cola collaborates with a video game company to create a drink. Let’s hope it’s the first of many and that the famous drink continues to invest in different ways in the video game industry.
