The leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, warned this Wednesday night that Pedro Sánchez was going to lead Spain to a situation similar to those of Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela or Bolivia, which he described as “authoritarianism.” The criticism of the President of the Government came just 24 hours after he agreed with the PSOE to renew the General Council of the Judiciary. The popular leader, who is trying to impose his thesis on the agreement with the socialists on the rest of his party leaders, accused the Executive of “trying to control the Judiciary, the Constitutional Court and the media.” On the other hand, Sánchez participates this morning in the Mediterranean Economic and Social Forum, after not attending the European Council due to the death of his father-in-law. Meanwhile, today the last session of the investigation commission into the sale of masks to public organizations during the pandemic is being held.
