Sánchez and Feijóo will measure their forces this Tuesday in a new duel in the Senate twelve days before the elections

The head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, and the leader of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, will once again lead a new parliamentary debate this Tuesday in the Senate plenary session just twelve days before the regional and municipal elections. On this occasion the ‘face to face’ will take place through an oral question, where both leaders will have a fixed time of seven minutes.

This new parliamentary debate will take place on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and comes with both leaders fully involved in the electoral campaign. Both leaders will take a break on their campaign trips to focus on this new ‘face to face’, which will be the fifth time they have debated using the oral question format in plenary.

And for this, Feijóo has decided to ask Sánchez if he considers that “the Spanish deserve to be told the truth”, according to the text of the question that the ‘popular’ leader has registered for this ‘face to face’.

Sánchez and Feijóo will have a limited time of seven minutes that they will have to divide into two interventions, ending with the chief executive. In addition, the President of the Government will also answer questions from the Canary Islands Coalition and Més per Mallorca.

The last debate between Sánchez and Feijóo took place on Tuesday, April 25, following an appearance by the President of the Government. This ‘face to face’ lasted almost three hours, with two hours of intervention by the chief executive and the rest of the ‘popular’ leader.

Zelensky is received with military honors by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin

Ukrainian President Volodomir Zelensky was received today with military honors by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, after meeting for about an hour this morning with German Head of State Frank-Walter Steinmeier. Zelensky has arrived in Germany after a day of meetings this Saturday in Rome and the Vatican, where he spoke for 40 minutes with the Pope.

After a strong and long handshake between Scholz and Zelenski, both greeted the respective representatives of both governments before taking a position on the red carpet to listen first to the Ukrainian anthem, followed by the German, after which they withdrew.

It is planned that Scholz and Zelensky will first hold a private conversation, followed by another meeting in a small circle before finally appearing before the press.

“Already in Berlin,” Zelensky tweeted upon arriving in the German capital shortly after midnight, adding: “Guns. solid package. Air defense, reconstruction. EU. NATO. Security” .

Germany announced yesterday the granting of a new and extensive military aid package to Ukraine worth more than 2.7 billion euros and which will include, among other equipment, air defense systems, armored combat vehicles and artillery.
