LastPass users are currently in a serious situation, and that is that according to what we can read in windows central, It seems that a change in the company’s authentication system has caused severe problems for its users, They have seen how they cannot log in due to a change in the multi-factor authentication system.
Likewise, some users have been able to follow a small path in which it seemed that the LastPass multi-factor authentication system could be restarted, but eventually they end up in a loop that does not allow them to log into their accounts either, as we see below.
Other users are also seeing how they cannot open support tickets to the company because a user account is required to do sobut this problem in the LastPass login system prevents users from even having an account with which to open such a ticket, thus creating another unsolvable loop.
These issues have apparently been going on since early May, and the company is being, at the very least, slow to solve the problem for the thousands and thousands of users who are suffering from it, possibly due to poor planning of this change.
