Irene Montero fears that Yolanda Díaz will hear “voices” like the ones that told Errejón to present himself without Podemos
The Minister for Equality and Secretary for Government Action of Podemos, Irene Montero, has shown this Wednesday her “concern” after seeing that the second vice president, Yolanda Díaz, is not “convinced and committed” to unity and has compared the situation with which he led the leader of Más País, Íñigo Errejón, to stand in the general elections in 2019, in which he ended up winning two seats.
“I am concerned about their doubts, that there are voices like those who told Íñigo Errejón to run without Podemos, that he was going to have a good result. We have already experienced this ”, the minister stated in an interview in La Cafetera de Radiocable. “We continue to think that the best option is a coalition agreement between Podemos and Sumar,” the leader insisted.
Montero has reaffirmed his party’s commitment to unity and convergence with Díaz’s platform, Sumar, after the Minister of Labor said on Monday that “absolutely” it would be a failure if Podemos finally did not agree to enter his political project , in an interview in El País, one day after launching his candidacy for the presidency of the Government.
