The Feminist Movement of Madrid, made up of organizations critical of the trans law promoted by the Government, has called a demonstration on 8M in the capital under the slogan “feminists fighting for women’s rights.”
International Women’s Day will have two different marches in Madrid for the second consecutive year due to the gap that the norm and the management of the Ministry of Equality have unleashed within the feminist movement. The 8M Commission, convener of the feminist strikes that filled the streets in 2018 and 2019, has already announced the call for a demonstration, which will depart from Atocha at 7:00 p.m. to culminate in Plaza de España. For its part, the Madrid Feminist Movement will leave the same place, although half an hour earlier and will head in the opposite direction, along Calle Atocha.
The organizations centralize their demands in eight points, among them, the demand for public policies against the labor gap, sexist violence or in favor of public health. But, like last year, the split has occurred because these groups declare themselves “abolitionists of the prostitution system” and “against the erasure of women and the reactionary idea of the wrong body”, they wield in reference to the Trans Law. They also affirm that “in other spaces feminist demands have been replaced by neoliberal policies that collide with women’s rights,” they affirm about the 8M Commission.

ERC will vote against accelerating the processing of the reform of the ‘only yes is yes’ law if Unidas Podemos does not support it
The spokesman for Esquerra Republicana, Gabriel Rufián, affirmed this Tuesday that his group will not participate in any attempt by the PSOE to advance the processing of the reform of the ‘only yes is yes’ law that does not have the support of United We Can. “ERC will not vote in favor of moving forward with this initiative without an agreement between Unidas Podemos and PSOE. The president of BBVA earned 8.29 million in 2022 and the CEO, 7.15 million
Carlos Torres Vila obtained a total remuneration of 8.29 million euros for exercising his responsibilities as Chairman of BBVA during the financial year 2022, which represents 5.8% more than in 2021, while the CEO, Onur Genç, won 7.15 million euros, 4.9% more.
This is stated in the annual report on the remuneration of directors sent this Tuesday by the bank to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), which specifies that part of this remuneration responds to the results obtained by the group in 2022: 6,420 million euros, the highest in the entity’s history and 38% higher than in 2021.
Specifically, Torres received 2.92 million euros in fixed remuneration in 2022, the same amount as in 2021, while the corresponding variable remuneration amounted to 4.63 million euros, compared to 4.24 million in 2021. The total remuneration of the CEO of BBVA, Onur Genç, amounted to 7.15 million euros in 2022, of which 2.17 million euros correspond to fixed remuneration (the same amount as in 2021) and 3.56 million euros to variable remuneration, above 3.22 million in 2021.

ERC, EH Bildu, Junts, PDeCAT, the CUP, Más País, Compromís and BNG have jointly registered this Tuesday a request for the appearance of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, to provide explanations on the three cases of police agents infiltrated in different social and political movements of Catalonia and the Valencian Community published by La Directa.
The spokesmen for these groups, the majority of whom are habitual allies of the Government, have signed this Tuesday the request for Sánchez to appear in plenary session after yesterday they registered a request for the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, to do the same in the parliamentary commission of the branch.
