Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba has warned that one of Russia’s main objectives is to stop the supply of weapons to Ukraine by its Western allies.
As pointed out by the highest representative of Ukrainian diplomacy in his profile on the social network Twitter, “Russia knows that its aggression is going to fail in a big way with the continuous supply of weapons to Ukraine”, so its objective now is to avoid them.
“Russia’s number one task is to stop them, either through missile attacks on logistics centers, or through disinformation about the alleged misuse of weapons in Ukraine,” the Ukrainian minister warned.
In recent days, a speech from Moscow has been reinforced that points to the denunciation of Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure with weapons supplied by the United States, a theory that kyiv has rejected at all times.
As Russian military authorities warned this week, the fact that the US ‘HIMARS’ missile launcher systems are used to attack the civilian population would arouse the anger of US citizens themselves.
One of the clearest examples of this discourse is reflected in the attack on the Elenovka prison, where more than 50 Ukrainian prisoners died and whose authorship Russia and Ukraine have mutually accused. Moscow has gone a step further and has ensured that the offensive was carried out with the aforementioned ‘HIMARS’.
