The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dimitro Kuleba, has criticized again this Tuesday, this time from the General Assembly of the United Nations, those who make “absurd” calls for peace, because in reality, he said, they are asking for ” something else”, the surrender of Kiev.
“We constantly hear absurd calls for an abstract peace. Most of them do not really mean peace, but something else,” criticized Kuleba, who has assured that what they are really proposing is that Russia keep the territories that it has left. annexing during the war.
In that sense, he has also criticized those who “cynically claim” that Ukraine is prolonging the war, since “what they really mean is that Ukraine should surrender and allow Russia to end its genocide as soon as possible.”
“After resisting Russia’s large-scale aggression for more than a year and a half, 40 million people can only answer all these proposals: ‘No!'”, Kuleba stressed, calling on the entire international community to join the peace plan proposed by the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelensky.
Likewise, he has accused those who are committed to stopping supplying arms to Ukraine, or who refuse to participate in these shipments, wanting to leave them defenseless and at the mercy of Russia and to be able to continue negotiating with Russia “as always”.
