A natural rival to devices like the Kindle Scribe, the Kobo Elipsa 2E focuses its improvements on writing and drawing possibilities. Once again we find a 10.3-inch electronic ink screen with blue light reduction and temperature adjustment, 32 GB of storage and a magnetic side that allows the pen to be easily attached to the reader when it is not being used to avoid its loss.
The changes appear in the stylus, which now integrates its own long-life battery instead of a hole for an AAA battery. In addition, it has a new “rubber” located on the back to facilitate the erasing of the lines. The rest of the changes are focused on the software, which includes new templates, a notebook with refined search, and changes to the annotation system so that they always remain visible even if the page layout or font type is changed.
As usual, the notes can be superimposed on the digital books that we are reading at any time or exported to PDF documents to be able to share them with other people, and if at any time the tip of the pencil wears out (which imitates the stroke of a pen ), you can always buy replacement ones.
The Kobo Elipsa 2E can now be reserved in Spain for its launch on April 19. Its price is 399 euros, with the option to benefit from a 50% discount on the SleepCover. The classic Elipsa will also continue to be sold for 399 euros, but unlike the new model, it includes the cover in the price.
