KBTG partners with three major Thai universities to launch joint master’s program

The KBTG, in collaboration with King Mongkut Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Mahidol University (MU) and Thammasat University (YOU), has presented a postgraduate program through the KBTG Kampus. This program is designed to enhance Thailand’s technology education and foster the development of a new generation of technology talents through in-depth research and studies focused on the industry’s real-world challenges. This partnership will further strengthen KBTG’s position in keeping pace with rapid technological advancements, while reaffirming its status as a leading technology organization in Thailand.

Ruangroj Poonpol, President of KBTG Group, noted that the KBTG Kampus project was launched in 2022 to address the challenges of technology education in Thailand. To bridge the gap between industry and academia and foster a comprehensive technology education ecosystem, KBTG partnered with KMITL as a pilot institution to address these issues, focusing on developing undergraduate programs that serve as a solid foundation for technology education. .

Recently, KBTG Kampus has gone a step further by launching new master’s programs in collaboration with three leading universities in Thailand. Co-developed by KBTG, the programs integrate real-world research to ensure real-world applications suitable for the present and future. They also focus on decisive topics to drive technological advancement, such as data analysis, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The collaboration gives rise to three master’s programs:

1. Master in Artificial Intelligence for Business Analysis, School of Information Technology, King Mongkut Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang.

2. Master in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance (international program), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University.

3. 3. Master of Arts and Sciences Program in Interdisciplinary Studies, Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Thammasat University.

In addition to its role in the co-development of the curriculum, the KBTG will participate in the selection process of students who access the program and will supervise their career, accompanying them from the first day to graduation. This initiative aims to support Thailand’s technology education and the domestic IT industry by developing new technology talents, thereby strengthening KBTG’s position as Thailand’s leading technology organization. The announcement is accompanied by the MoU signing ceremony with MU and TU.
