September 9 () –
Princess Catherine of Wales has announced that she has completed chemotherapy treatment to combat cancer, a “relief” that comes after “nine incredibly hard months” and that she wanted to highlight with a video of intimate moments with her family.
The goal now is to be “cancer-free,” since although she has completed treatment, Kate Middleton has pointed out in her message that moving towards “full recovery” will still be a “long” road. She hopes to be able to return to work and participate in “some more public events” in the coming months.
“Despite everything that has happened, I am entering this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation for life,” he added, as he now understands that “life as you know it can change in an instant.”

The princess, who confirmed in March that she was ill after several weeks away from public life, has stressed that “the cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you.” The disease, she said, reveals “vulnerabilities” and gives you “a new perspective on everything.”
During this time, both she and her husband, Prince William, heir to the British throne, have begun to value “simple” things that are often “taken for granted.” They are both “grateful” for the support they have received, for “the kindness, empathy and compassion from everyone.”
