The leader of the Chechnya region, Ramzan Kadirov, has reported on Tuesday that he will send part of the Ajmat special forces group, led by himself, to the Belgorod region to prevent new “sabotage attacks” perpetrated by related to Ukraine.
As Kadirov has detailed on his official Telegram channel, this measure has been adopted after a meeting between a related deputy and the governor of Belgorod, Viacheslav Gladkov, along with other representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the Russian National Guard.
Thus, Kadirov has reported that not only the Akhmat-West battalion, but also other Russian military units will participate in the work on “prevention of sabotage attacks by Ucronazi armed formations.”
“I am convinced that, taking into account the high combat capacity of the Akhmat-West battalion, the objectives set for the unit will be achieved without much effort,” said Kadirov, also considered one of the Russian president’s trusted men. Vladimir Putin.
The Belgorod region, bordering the far northeast of Ukraine, has been the scene of recent armed incursions by groups opposed to the Kremlin and Putin’s leadership. These organizations have carried out attacks against the civilian population and have been responded to by the Russian Army.
