Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity coming to Meta Quest on October 15

June 11 (Portaltic/EP) –

Ubisoft has announced that it will bring the video game Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity to Meta Quest devices -Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro- starting next October 15, with options to customize game avatars and make voice chats with other players.

Just Dance VR: Welcome to Dancity is a title that takes on the characteristics of the music and dance classic Just Dance and adapts them to offer users a three-dimensional (3D) experience, as stated on its website.

This video game introduces 25 “chart-topping” songs to dance to in an immersive 360-degree experience. Among them are ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’, by Queen, ‘Bad Liar’, by Selena Gomez or ‘Starships’ by Nicky Minaj.

The developer has explained that Just Dance VR allows public or private pairing and that in the scenario that is enabled, in addition to dancing, it is possible to play basketball or interact with different elements with up to 6 players.

During the game, which allows you to create characters and choose between different body shapes, facial expressions, skin or hair colors, it is also possible to send ‘stickers’, emoticons or voice notes to people who are not on the friends list via of the chats.

Likewise, the video game, which will come to Quest devices the next 15 October, includes a series of collectible rewards, ranging from ‘stickers’ with in-game emoticons, toys such as a glow stick or a magic wand, outfits for the characters, aliases and insignia for the Dancer Card.
