Amman confirms its participation in the interception operations of the Iranian attack but assures that national activity will not be altered

April 14 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Jordanian authorities have made a call this Sunday in favor of a return to “normality” after confirming their intervention, together with the United States, the United Kingdom and other allies of Israel, in the operation to intercept last night's Iranian attack against territory Israeli.

After the extraordinary meeting this Sunday, the Jordanian Council of Ministers has announced the immediate reopening of its airspace and assured that all public services, as well as study centers, will not see their activity interrupted in the slightest.

However, the cabinet led by the country's prime minister, Bisher al Jasauné, has taken the opportunity to ask all parties in the conflict to “act responsibly and with the highest levels of containment”, to avoid an even greater expansion of the conflict. hostilities.

Likewise, the Council of Ministers has categorically denied that the country had at any time declared a state of national emergency. The Jordanian Minister of Information, Muhanad al Mubaidin, immediately came out against some “completely false” information and warned the Jordanian media not to publish unverified information.

“Absolutely everything will proceed in a regular and normal manner,” the Council of Ministers said in a statement collected by the official agency Petra, “both in the public sector and in the private sector, while our brave Army continues to guarantee the security of the nation.”

Without elaborating too much on the attack, the Council of Ministers confirmed that the Army “intercepted some of the flying objects that entered Jordanian airspace last night” to “prevent them from endangering citizens.” The Jordanian Government recognizes that “fragments” of the Israeli projectiles “fell inside the country but without causing significant damage or injuries to citizens, thank God.”
