The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs promotes the export volume of Indonesian fishery products Maluku by strengthening capacity development in the sector and facilitating the holding of a meeting between Japanese importers and investors with Maluku business actors on June 13.

“I will support the increase of tuna exports from Maluku to Japan,” stated Kiyoshi Kimura, general manager of Sushi Zanmai Japan, during the business meeting with one of Maluku’s fish exporters, PT. Fed up Samudera.

Sushi Zanmai offers to create a joint venture to strengthen fishing technology in Indonesia by sending fish harvesting vessels with a capacity of 19 to 300 tons. It is hoped that the vessel can help in more effective and efficient fish harvesting.
