November is a very important month for our country due to the Day of the Dead, one of the most iconic and valuable traditions of Mexican culture. Of course, many video games dress up for the occasion and incorporate holiday-themed content, but sometimes it’s the fans themselves who get down to business.

The Day of the Dead came to Halo Infinite thanks to a fan
In that line, a talented player of halo-infinite surprised the community with a concept art that takes as a source of inspiration the festivity of Mexico. On her Twitter account, she shared a couple of images where we see sets of armor that show off bright colors and beautiful skulls.
The author of this impressive project is the user ExaminarI, who, according to his official Twitter description, makes renders of Halo for fun. In a follow-up post, he states that this idea had been in the pipeline since the beginning of October and that he took inspiration from the beautiful illustrations of the artist Uriel Ortega (@Urihell343).

The armor sets have shades of purple, orange and black. All adorned with beautiful skull designs typical of the Day of the Dead. Likewise, the author took on the task of making a beautiful thematic amulet, as well as multiple emblems and backgrounds to personalize the profiles of halo-infinite.
As expected, the illustrations gained a lot of visibility in the last few hours. As of this writing, the post has 1,832 likes and 220 retweets. In the comments section, many users praised ExaminarI’s work and expressed their wish that 343 Industries put these and other Day of the Dead-inspired designs into the multiplayer component of the popular Xbox video game.
