Italian MEP’s husband found dead in his car

Angelo Onorato, an architect and husband of the Italian Christian Democratic MEP Francesca Donato, has been found dead in his car with a cable tied around his neck and the Police have indicated that “all hypotheses are open.”

Onorato, owner of two furniture stores, was found dead on a street north of Palermo around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, after his wife looked for him using the GPS signal after he did not appear at home for dinner.

The rear door of the vehicle was open even though Onorato was sitting in the driver’s seat. A coroner is already examining the mortal remains.

Onorato was born in Palermo in 1969 and, in addition to the furniture business, his family owned a construction company. He also played the piano and was an expert in music.
