Samsung Electronics has announced that continuous navigation is now available on the entire Galaxy Book series, which allows these devices to be linked with Samsung Galaxy smartphones and continue browsing sessions thanks to a Microsoft application.
The company has indicated that it is aware that connected devices mean greater productivity and comfort for users and, to demonstrate this, it has mentioned a recent survey, entitled Samsung Design Innovation Center Communication Behaviors Research.
This analysis determines that the 77 percent of users use multiple apps and devices simultaneously to accomplish a task, but also find that it may require additional effort.
To meet this need, the manufacturer has presented a function focused on the multi-device ecosystem, called ‘Recent Websites’ and which is integrated into the Mobile Link application.
This update to the Microsoft ‘app’ is now available on the entire Galaxy Book series and allows users to continue browsing sessions on their ‘smartphones’ on their computers.
To use this functionality, the Samsung Galaxy series smartphone must first be linked to the Galaxy Book via Link to Windows, available in the Connected devices section of the Windows menu. Phone settings.
In turn, you must open the Microsoft Mobile Link application on your computer or do it with the pop-up window on your PC, which shows the list of websites that have recently been opened on the ‘smartphone’. Clicking on one of these links will automatically open it on the Galaxy Book.
Samsung has finally signaled that it plans to unveil new initiatives to boost multi-device connectivity for the Galaxy Book series at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked, to be held on February 1st.
