The Israeli army speaks of an “attack” and stresses that the “terrorist” has been “neutralized” after being shot
September 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An Israeli man was critically injured after being run over near the settlement of Givat Asaf, east of the West Bank city of Ramallah, in an incident that resulted in the “neutralization” of the truck driver involved in the incident.
The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) ambulance service said the incident took place at around 10:00 a.m. local time, when a tanker truck ran over a person at a junction near the settlement.
“Magen David Adom doctors and paramedics have provided on-site medical treatment to a 20-year-old man who is in critical condition,” the ministry said in a statement posted on its Telegram account.
The Israeli army, for its part, has spoken of an “attack” in the area and has stressed that “a terrorist has been neutralized on the spot.” “The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are lifting roadblocks in the area,” it added.
