Israel reports one soldier killed in Gaza and there are now 315 since the start of the offensive

The Israeli Armed Forces reported this Saturday the death of First Sergeant Malkia Gross, 25, who died in the Gaza Strip as part of the Israeli military offensive against the Palestinian enclave.

Gross, a reservist, died this Saturday in combat in the southern Gaza Strip. He was part of the 205th ‘Iron Fist’ Armored Reserve Brigade, of the 9212th Battalion.

With the death of Gross, there are already 315 Israeli military deaths since the beginning of the ground offensive against the Palestinian militias in the Gaza Strip. The figure includes a police officer killed during a hostage rescue operation.

The Israeli offensive was launched after attacks by Palestinian militias on October 7, in which some 1,200 people were killed and more than 240 kidnapped. Since then, more than 37,000 Palestinians have died in the Gaza Strip, most of them civilians.
