The Israeli Armed Forces (IDF) issued evacuation orders this Sunday for three buildings and their surroundings in the south of Beirut, and have recommended the Lebanese to stay more than 500 meters away, on the same day that the Lebanese Environment Minister Nasser Yassin has put the number of Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours at 145.
“It is located near Hezbollah facilities and interests against which the IDF will operate in the near future. For your safety and that of your family members, you must evacuate these buildings and those adjacent to them immediately and stay away from them at a safe distance. less than 500 meters,” the FDI spokesperson for Arab media, Avichay Adraee, warned the residents of the area.
According to Adraee, the buildings are located in the suburban areas of Burj el Barajneh and Chiya.
Precisely this Sunday, Yassin distributed in his report No. 47 that in the last 24 hours, the IDF has carried out 145 air strikes and bombings in different areas of Lebanon, as reported by Lebanese television MTV.
Most of them, he noted, have been carried out in the south of the country, especially in Nabatieh.
MORE THAN 3,450 DEATHS
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported this Saturday that there are now 3,452 deaths as a result of the Israeli invasion after adding seven deaths during the day on Friday. There are also 14,664 injured, 65 of them on Friday.
Among the fatalities there are 2,427 men, 666 women and 223 minors. Among the wounded, 11,432 are men; 2,612 women and 1,312 minors. The death toll includes 208 health workers. Israel unleashed a new invasion of Lebanon on October 1 after several weeks of intense bombing and attacks against the country, including the coordinated explosion of thousands of communication devices used by the Lebanese group, after more than eleven months of fighting with Hezbollah in the border area. Lebanon has reported nearly 3,400 deaths since the outbreak of hostilities on October 8, 2023.
The resurgence in hostilities is part of the clashes that began more than a year ago, after Hezbollah attacked Israeli territory following the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions, which led to Israel to unleash a bloody offensive against the Gaza Strip, where more than 43,700 people have already died.
On the other hand, the pro-Iranian militia of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has assumed responsibility for launching a drone this morning against the city of Eilat, in the extreme south of Israel. Sirens sounded in the town at 06:00 after the Israeli Army identified a drone “coming from the east” that was heading towards Israel, but which crashed before crossing into Israeli territory, according to the Army.
