The Israeli Armed Forces have issued a notice urging the Lebanese population to stay at least 500 meters from three buildings in the Dahiyé neighborhood that they consider to be facilities of the Lebanese party-militia Hezbollah located in the country’s capital, Beirut.
“You are in the vicinity of Hezbollah installations and the Israel Defense Forces are going to intervene forcefully against them,” explained the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli Armed Forces, Avichay Adraee.
“For your safety and the safety of your family members, you must evacuate these buildings immediately and remain at least 500 meters away,” he added.
Israel has increased its attacks in recent weeks, attacking Hezbollah targets in the east, south and in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, where the group’s secretary general, Hassan Nasrallah, died on Friday.
