MADRID 17 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Thursday, the Israeli Army ordered the evacuation of the civilian population from an area located in the Bekaa Valley, in eastern Lebanon, which has been the target of several bombings carried out during the last month against the neighboring country.
The Israeli forces have indicated in a statement that the order has been issued preventively as they prepare actions against “targets of pro-Iranian forces” in the town of Tamnine el Tahta, according to a statement.
The Army’s Arabic spokesman, Avichay Adraee, explained that “strategic” attacks against interests and positions of the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah in the area are planned to be carried out imminently, so “residents must evacuate by their safety,” he clarified.
The Israeli Armed Forces, which have already issued evacuation orders in the past shortly before beginning to bomb positions in both Gaza and Lebanon, have also released a map of the area that will be the target of these attacks.
