September 28 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli Armed Forces reported this Saturday the interception of a missile launched from Yemen and which, according to the Houthis, was prepared to explode at the time when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was returning to the country from New York.
“Following alerts that were activated in the center of the country, a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen was detected and intercepted by air defense fighters outside the country’s borders,” the Israeli Army reported.
The leader of the Houthis, Abdul Malik al Huti, appeared on Yemeni television to explain that the projectile was launched half an hour before Neyanyahu’s plane was scheduled to land at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport.
Al Huti has promised that the death of Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah “will not be in vain.” “These great sacrifices will not be in vain,” according to Al Huti, who has ordered “to improve the results” of the missile and drone attacks against Israel.
