MADRID Jan. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Israeli Army has deployed troops in the town of Kudana, south of the Syrian governorate of Quneitra, taking advantage of the fall of the Bashar al Assad regime in an offensive by rebel forces led by the jihadist group Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS) and allied factions.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have entered the aforementioned town with machinery and armored vehicles, razing the area with bulldozers. Residents have tried to prevent the troops from advancing, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.

Furthermore, as reported by the organization, based in London but with informants in the Arab country, the IDF has blocked the road that leads to the town’s forest area and has forced the schools to close, completely suspending the system. educational.

However, Israeli troops have arrested a man, originally from Al Aliya, in the governorate of Daraa, without giving any explanation as to the reasons for the arrest.

The offensive in Syria, launched on November 27 from the province of Idlib and led by Hayat Tahrir al Sham (HTS), has allowed jihadists and rebels to take the capital, Damascus, as well as Aleppo and Hama, in the face of a constant withdrawal of the government troops, backed by Turkey and Iran.
