MADRID Dec. 23 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli Armed Forces reported this Monday the death in combat of three of its members in the north of the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of soldiers killed in the Palestinian enclave to 818 since the start of the retaliatory offensive launched after the attack by Palestinian militias on October 7, 2023.
“The names of the three deceased have been published and their families have been informed,” the Israeli Armed Forces explained in a statement.
Among the deceased is Captain Ilay Gavriel Atedgi, 22 years old and originally from Kiryat Motzkin. Atedgi was the deputy commander of the Shimshon Battalion of the Kfir Brigade.
Sergeant Netanel Pessach, 21, from Elazar, and reserve commander Hillel Diener, 21, from Talmon, both from the Shimsom Battalion, have also died.
