The Israeli Army shoots down four drones from Lebanon and confirms the impact of a fifth in Nahariya, without casualties

The Israeli Army has completed this Saturday a new series of bombings in the last 24 hours against the south of the capital of Lebanon, Beirut, launched this morning, one hour after ordering a new forced evacuation of the area, considered a bastion of the Hezbollah militias.
The Lebanese authorities have not yet provided information on the number of victims of these bombings, concentrated mainly in the Dahiya neighborhood, the usual target of these attacks.
These bombings have been repeated in Tyre, in the south of the country, after another night of Israeli attacks in surrounding areas, such as the Bint Jbeil region.
Hezbollah, for its part, has claimed responsibility for two rocket attacks against the Ramim barracks, which houses the headquarters of an infantry battalion, near the border in northern Israel, according to a statement collected by the ANI agency.
Similarly, Israel has confirmed that it has shot down four unmanned aircraft “from Lebanon” in the last few hours after the impact of a fifth of these devices in a neighborhood of the Israeli city of Nahariya, which left no victims.
Israel unleashed a new invasion of Lebanon on October 1 after several weeks of intense bombing and attacks against the country, including the coordinated explosion of thousands of communication devices used by the Lebanese group, after more than eleven months of fighting with Hezbollah in the border area. Lebanon has reported nearly 3,400 deaths since the outbreak of hostilities on October 8, 2023.
The resurgence in hostilities is part of the clashes that began more than a year ago, after Hezbollah attacked Israeli territory following the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and other Palestinian factions, which led to Israel to unleash a bloody offensive against the Gaza Strip, where more than 43,700 people have already died.
On the other hand, the pro-Iranian militia of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has assumed responsibility for launching a drone this morning against the city of Eilat, in the extreme south of Israel. Sirens sounded in the town at 06:00 after the Israeli Army identified a drone “coming from the east” that was heading towards Israel, but which crashed before crossing into Israeli territory, according to the army.
