Thus, Gordin has celebrated that since the beginning of the ‘Northern Arrows’ operation, the Israeli Army has managed to deal “a very serious blow to the command and control of Hezbollah”, eliminating a large part of its leadership, including the Secretary General Hasan Nasrallah in an attack in Beirut at the end of September.

Israel began a ground incursion into southern Lebanon in early October in a maneuver to intensify its offensive against Hezbollah in response to the missile attacks launched by the Islamist group for more than a year as a show of solidarity with the Palestinian cause. .
