According to information collected by the Syrian state news agency, SANA, the bombing has reached the Shinshar area, located south of Homs and on the highway that connects the city with the capital, Damascus, without the authorities having given more details. .
For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has indicated that the attack has hit a Hezbollah “ammunition warehouse.” The Israeli Army has not commented for now on this new bombing against Syrian territory, amid the resurgence of the conflict in the Middle East.
The Israeli authorities recognize attacks in Syria, arguing that they are acting to prevent the establishment of Iranian bases and the shipment of weapons to Hezbollah by Tehran, which supports the Syrian president, Bashar al Assad, in the context of the war that broke out in 2011. after the violent repression of pro-democracy demonstrations within the framework of the ‘Arab Spring’.
