The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) carried out a new bombing this Friday against residential buildings located in the south of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, after ordering a forced evacuation of the population in several areas of the city.

The Israeli Army has indicated in a brief statement published on the social network

Later, the Israeli Armed Forces themselves confirmed through the same platform that their troops were “targeting weapons belonging to the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which were stored under civilian buildings in Dahiye,” in the Lebanese capital. Likewise, they have attacked “terrorist targets” of the party-militia in the Tsur region, in the south of the country.

In addition, they have revealed that their Air Force has attacked “dozens of launchers aimed at the rear of the State of Israel”, as well as “buildings where weapons were stored in various areas of southern Lebanon”, all in operations “under the direction of the Northern Command”.

While waiting to provide more details about its latest attacks on Lebanese soil, the Israeli Army has assured that “the IDF continues to attack Hezbollah terrorist targets (in the country) at this time.”

Its spokesman, Daniel Hagari, has justified these actions by claiming that “Hezbollah has more than 150,000 rockets intended to kill Israeli civilians” and that some of them are “strategically placed below the civilian population.”

Thus, Hagari has reiterated the call for Lebanese civilians in the Dahiye neighborhood to “move away from the areas used by Hezbollah” and has argued that the IDF “is not (are) in conflict with the people of Lebanon”, but rather “is defending Israel from Hezbollah.”

This comes after the Arabic spokesman for the Israeli Army, Avichai Adrai, asked the Lebanese population to “evacuate buildings immediately and stay away at a distance of no less than 500 meters” for their “safety and that of their loved ones.” “.

Hours earlier, the Israeli Army carried out a “selective bombing” against residential buildings in Beirut where it claims to be the headquarters of the Shiite party-militia. Lebanese authorities have already reported at least six deaths and 76 injuries.
