Israeli forces have attacked positions of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday in response to several shots fired shortly before from the Palestinian enclave, which have reached an industrial building near the border.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported that, shortly before, several shots hit an industrial building in the community of Netiv Haasara, although at the moment there is no information about possible victims or injuries.
“Israeli Air Force warplanes have attacked a Hamas military post in the northern Gaza Strip,” the IDF said in a message posted on its Twitter account.
For its part, Palestinian sources have indicated that Israel has attacked two Hamas observation posts in the Beit Hanoun area, in the north of the Gaza Strip, as reported by the newspaper ‘Haaretz’.
On Saturday night, the IDF reported the launch of four missiles from the Gaza Strip, one of which was intercepted by Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ anti-aircraft defense system.
