MADRID Nov. 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli Army announced this Friday the death of a prominent political communications official for the Islamist movement Hamas after an attack in Gaza.
The deceased has been identified as Izz al Din Kassab, head of “National Relations in the Hamas Political Office”, that is, interlocutor with other Palestinian organizations.
In a statement published on its X social network account, the Israeli Army attributes to Kassab “responsibility for the organization’s strategic and military relations with other factions in Gaza.”
Likewise, the deceased “had the authority to direct the execution of terrorist attacks against the State of Israel,” according to the Israeli Army, without giving further details.
The Islamist movement has not commented on this information.
