SHIFT UP is in the process of promoting Stellar Blade, which will debut in less than 2 weeks. On the eve of the big event, the South Korean company received a visit from one of the heads of PlayStationmaking many think about a possible alliance.

This weekend, the head of the Independent Developer Initiative of Sony Interactive Entertainment, Shuhei Yoshidaattracted attention because he published an image in which he gives an account of his visit to SHIFT UPwhose offices are located in Seoul, South Korea.

In the image appears the director of PlayStation together with the founder and head of SHIFT UP, Kim Hyung Taeand his wife and also an artist Jiyun Chae.

The curious thing is that this occurs just days after SHIFT UP informed that it would cease to be a private company and that it would announce the development of an undisclosed project, of which one of its characteristics is that it will reach PC and consoles.

Something curious is that in the photograph a screen appears on which you can see Hindenburgcharacter of Azur Lanewhich has made some think that SHIFT UP is hinting at a possible collaboration with this other mobile title.

Outside of those curiosities, the photograph apparently includes nothing in relation to Stellar Blade, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE or some other project SHIFT UP.

That said, although it is common for Yoshida is constantly traveling to visit independent studios and pursue supportive and exclusive partnerships, the reason for this particular visit is unknown, so it should not be assumed that PlayStation is already trying to make sure that the next project SHIFT UP come to your consoles.
