Silent Hill 2 will have a remake by Bloober Team and Konami. This is a game that all fans of the franchise and survival horror enthusiasts will want to try. This is why having it on as many platforms as possible would be ideal, but will it be so and will we see it on Xbox consoles? This is what we know.
At the Konami event focused on Silent Hillas well as in materials that were later released, the remake of Silent Hill 2 it is only made for PlayStation 5 and PC. In this way, at least at this time, you should only expect to see it on these platforms.
But does this mean that it is impossible to see Silent Hill 2 on Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S? Not really. In the event it was mentioned that it will arrive on PlayStation 5 and PC and that its exclusivity period will be 12 months. After that year passes, the game may be available “in other formats.”

Now, it should be noted that this does not confirm that at some point we will see Silent Hill 2 on Xbox Series X|S. Let us remember that there are games ―like Final Fantasy 7 Remake― which are announced as temporary exclusives, but after years remain stuck on a console and many receive a PC version.
So will we see Silent Hill 2 on Xbox Series X|S? It is a question that still has no answer. Without a doubt, the door is now open to this possibility, since the exclusivity period is only 12 months. That said, there are still things that need to happen before we can assume that port is going to exist. The same can be said about a version for Nintendo Switch or for some streaming service.
