Iran’s Revolutionary Guard announced this Thursday the dismantling of a spy network in the northwestern province of Qazvin, which was allegedly involved in “anti-Iran movements” and had participated in acts of sabotage against Iranian national security.

Qazvin’s Revolutionary Guard unit has indicated that the network was “affiliated with hostile and anti-Iranian movements” that was involved in the spread of fake news against the country and was active in several provinces, according to a statement collected by the news agency. IRNA.

Likewise, he has indicated that the members of said network have been arrested and handed over to the judicial authorities within the framework of a “complex operation” carried out in cooperation with the Intelligence unit of the Revolutionary Guard of the province of Isfahan, although He has not given details on the number of those arrested.
