Without any prior presentation, and perhaps due to an error, Intel has published on its website the details of five new Intel 200H series processors for high-performance laptops.
Unfortunately, as you may have already imagined by doing away with the “Ultra” tagline, They are nothing more than rehashes based on the old Raptor Lake Refresh architectures (in turn based on Raptor Lake)that is, we will have the same architectures with variations in MHz. These are the Intel Core 5 210H, Core 5 220H, Core 7 240H, Core 7 250H and Core 9 270H.
The most powerful model will be this Intel Core 9 270H which has 14 cores distributed in 6 P-Cores and 8 E-Cores, with a maximum Boost frequency of 5.8 GHz for the P-Core and 4.1 GHz for the E-Core, starting from base frequencies of 2.7 and 2 GHz respectively. Their TPD is 45W and they have integrated 1.55 GHz graphics.
Being models based on old architectures, these Core 200H They do not have NPU or new graphics generation. They will be intended for performance range laptops, but below the models that arrive with New generation Core Ultra 200H. However, using this nomenclature to rename old processors is a strategy that could mislead consumers.
