Intel has everything ready for your big presentation tomorrowwhere he has confirmed to us that We will see the first Core Ultra of the 200 series also known as Intel Lunar Lake. In addition to these Lunar Lake, the manufacturer plans to launch more models for high-performance desktops and laptops, the Intel Arrow Lake. But Intel already is working in the next generation that will succeed this next one, those known as Panther Lakewith a configuration that will reach 16 CPU cores and 12 Xe3 Cores for graphics.
This configuration has been seen in Coreboot filesa software that allows replacing proprietary boot systems with this open source one. According to Coreboot files there will be 4 configurations of these Intel Panther Lake, with variants from 8 to 16 cores.
The low consumption range, that of the Panther Lake-Uwill come with a configuration of 8 cores4 high-performance and 4 ultra-low-power cores without high-efficiency cores that have been replaced by LPs. It will also feature 4 Xe3 cores for the GPU integrated Intel's upcoming Celestial graphics architecture. It will have a default TPD of 15W and will reach 54W in turbo mode (PL2), with a peak of up to 142W.
For the Panther Lake-H There will be two variants, one with 4 Xe3 cores and another with 12 Xe3 cores. Both will have 4 high-performance cores, 8 high-efficiency cores and 4 more ultra-low-consumption cores with a total of 16 cores. The base TPD of this configuration is registered as configurable between 25 and 28W for the version with 4 Xe3 Cores and between 25 and 45 for the one with 12 Xe3 Cores. They will also reach 64 and 80 W respectively in PL2 mode, going up to the 154W and 240W respectively. There is also talk of a version with 16 cores and 45 W TDP without integrated graphics.
However, Intel is not expected to start manufacturing these upcoming Panthe Lakes. well into next yearwe still have new Intel Core Ultra 200 series (Intel Lunar Lake and Arrow Lake) ahead of us before the Intel Core Ultra 300 (Panther Lake) arrives.
