Intel has already shown the Meteor Lake processors, which will be released after the next Intel Raptor Lake. The Intel Meteor Lake will have a chiplet-based design made up of a compute module, a graphics module and a third chip. These will be manufactured with multiple nodes, including the Intel 4. Now some Microsoft Perfmon documents have been leaked where it specifies that the kernels of this fourteenth generation will be based in Redwood Cove and Crestmont.
Thanks to these files we know that the fourteenth generation, Intel Meteor Lake, will have high-performance cores Redwood Cove and high efficiency cores Crestmont. This generation of processors that Intel has shown in its version for laptops, will be the successors of the Intel Raptor Lake that will be announced at the end of September of this year, so we are talking about two more generations of the current one.
This next generation Intel Meteor Lake will introduce improvements such as a more powerful GPU by having an independent chip for this. It is said that these Intel Xe-LPG may have up to 192 EU to move heavier graphics tasks. It will also have a third chip whose function is currently unknown. These Intel Meteor Lake are expected to be available sometime in 2024.
