when intel announced the arrival on the market of its Intel ARC A770 graphics card, It also launched a “Limited Edition” version that doubled the capacity of the VRAM memory, going from the standard 8 GB to 16 GB.
Now the company has surprised announcing that they discontinue this Limited Edition version, so they will stop manufacturing and selling their own 16 GB Intel Arc A770. The 8 GB model will continue to be sold, and manufacturers with custom versions will be able to continue to make 16 GB models.
However, today, if we remove the Intel ARC A770 Limited Editionthere will only be three models on the market with 16 GB, as is the case with the ASRock Predator BIFROST ARC A770 OC.
The Intel ARC 770 offers 32 “Xe Cores”, each with its RayTracing acceleration unit, and a GPU speed of 2,100 MHz. Its 8 (or 16) GB of VRAM reach 560 Gbps.
