Instagram introduces multi-track audio to Reels – GOAL
July 17 (Portaltic/EP) –
Instagram has announced a new feature for ‘reels’ that allows the introduction of multi-track audio, with the option of adding up to 20 songs in a single video of this type and visually align audio with other editing elements.
The platform’s reels are short, vertical videos to which you can add filters, effects and music. All of this can be chosen from the device’s multimedia library or recorded at the time you want to publish it.
The company is developing new ways to deliver this content to audiences, and recently CEO Adam Mosseri suggested the possibility of sharing specific snippets of reels in Stories.
Nowthe social network’s managers have added a new feature, which “offers creators a new option to unleash their creativity,” as announced on Instagram itself.
This is multi-track audio in reels, which allows content creators to add up to 20 songs to a single video of this format and visually align the audio with other elements, such as text, clips or stickers.
Meta, the developer of this app, has also commented that those who add several audio tracks can create their own mix, attributed solely to them, and their followers can, in turn, save it and reuse it in new creations.
The new Instagram feature is now available worldwide and can be accessed from the app for iOS and Android devices.
