India and China address issues relating to their borders

Indian and Chinese celebrated the 18th round of the Corps Commander Level Meeting, at the Chushul-Moldo border rendezvous point, on the Chinese side.

The two sides held a frank and in-depth discussion on resolving the relevant issues along the LAC (actual line of control, the effective border between both countries) in the Western Sector to restore peace and tranquility in the border areas. , which will allow progress in bilateral relations.

In line with the guidance provided by the Heads of State and following the meeting between the two Foreign Ministers in March 2023, they held an open and candid exchange of views.

In the meantime, both sides have agreed to maintain security and stability on the ground in the Western Sector. The two sides agreed to stay in close contact and maintain dialogue through military and diplomatic channels, as well as work out a mutually acceptable resolution of the outstanding issues as soon as possible.
