“We will continue with the construction of trains and other infrastructure projects. Yes, it is enough, we are doing it in a very responsible way. There is no problem in increasing the deficit or debt. It is not being considered,” he said.
For this year, the Treasury estimates a deficit of 5% of GDP.
Regarding the transition, Claudia Sheinbaum commented that the current government is already closing in some areas. “We are going to see how the current federal government closes this year, and next year it will also be a responsible budget,” she explained.
