Electronic Arts is waiting to present the next installment of Need For Speed, which we already know will be called Unbound, and although we had clues about the visual style that it was going to adopt, which will generally be photorealistic with Anime-style elements, it seems that some images have been leaked that allow us to better understand what awaits us.
In principle, it seems that the vehicles will have a quality comparable to what we could see in Need For Speed Heat or 2015, while their decorations will be based on the JDM culture that we have been seeing for years in other places and in real life. However, this does not end here.
In the images we see how the characters will also be drawnremoving any kind of photorealism in them, while particle effects like smoke also appear to be fully drawn, something that will be quite shocking the first few times, since we were promised a photorealistic environment with some anime details.
Tomorrow the live presentation of the game will take place, so we will be able to see more aspects of it, and especially, we will be able to see this technique in motion, since at the moment it does not seem as cohesive as we would expect from a company like EA.
