Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced the 8th installment of Like a Dragon at the Summer Games Showcase 2023, but didn’t offer many details. The good news for fans is that the studio has just shared a new trailer for the highly anticipated title.
The first trailer for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealthpresented its protagonist, Ichiban Kasuga, in a very unusual situation, since he was in the middle of a beach without clothes.
There were no explanations in this regard and today the Japanese study took advantage of its own event, the RGG Summit Summer 2023 to not clarify doubts, but to generate more.

We say this because Ryu Ga Gotoku had one more trailer prepared, in which it was possible to see the 2 iconic characters of the saga: Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu.
What caught my eye is that they were both having a chat and then they brought up the topic of Saeko Mukoda, Ichiban’s love interest, who sadly turned him down when he proposed to her. This struck a chord deep inside Ichiban, which she opened up to and cried as she explained the situation to Kiryu.
“Hey come on, don’t be so pathetic,” Kazuma chided.
It was then that Ichiban begins to ask him for advice on broken hearts and flirting, but he questions if Kazuma will be of any help, since he does not seem to have experience in love and be a “ladies’ man”.
“Wow, give me some credit, I have some experience,” Kasuma reaffirmed, but as he began to reminisce, the trailer sadly ended.

The developers offered no further context beyond that both scenes are part of the game and not just promo sequences, so fans can expect to see them in the campaign, adding that fans will have to wait to find out what it is when play the title
Of course, the developers made it clear that the main story will not be focused on the love affairs of Ichiban and Kazuma.
The good news is that the studio plans to talk about the game again this year, precisely in the fall, when it will hold another event like this one focused on the series, the RGG Summit Fall 2023.
