Ibai makes history again; Soiree of the Year III breaks Twitch records

This weekend history was made on Twitch and it couldn’t be at the hands of another content creator than Ibai Llanos, who organized a great face-to-face and virtual event that broke platform records.

Of course we are talking about The Evening of the Year III, the 3rd edition of the boxing event that has the particularity of having pure international content creators as contenders.

On this occasion, personalities such as Samy “Rivers” Rivera, Germán “JuegaGerman” Garmendia and Luis “Fernanfloo” Fernando gathered, so the event was expected to be great… and it did.

Ibai broke the record for the number of concurrent viewers

The event was so popular that at some point it managed to surpass the 3.4 million concurrent viewers mark, which is pretty incredible.

This feat was enough to break the record for concurrent viewers for a live event on Twitch. The previous one belonged precisely to the previous edition of this event, La Velada del Año II, which took place in 2022 and which, with its 3.3 million viewers, managed to dethrone at that time the 2.46 million viewers that TheGrefg achieved in 2021.

The most interesting thing is that the transmission lasted more than 8 hours and in many of them the number of viewers managed to stay between 3 and 2 million, something incredible.

Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, was also going to participate in the event, but in the end she canceled her appearance due to health reasons. That being said, we do not doubt that the number of viewers would have been much higher, taking into account that she is one of the content creators with the most followers on the platform.
