Hunter x Hunter: new fighting game is delayed and will not arrive this year for a very good reason

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact delayed to have rollback netcode

Studios shared bittersweet news for waiting players Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact. For starters, the title was delayed to 2025 and, for now, there is no exact date for its release. The developers apologized to the community for the announcement and thanked them for their understanding.

On the other hand, the delay is due to a good reason: the fighting title will debut with rollback netcodea feature that will ensure that everyone enjoys the online games of Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact without delays. So, the additional time will be spent implementing it.

“The release date of Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will change from the previously announced 2024 date to a 2025 release. We sincerely apologize to players who are looking forward to the release of the title.

“This delay is due to the fact that we will be able to implement rollback netcode for launch. We made this decision out of concern that players would not be able to fully enjoy the title in a state where some users may encounter problems with online play, given the nature of fighting games. The release date will be announced later,” the companies announced.

Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact will have an initial roster that will fascinate all fans of the saga as it will include Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, Hisoka, Netero, Bisky, Machi, Uvogin, Chrollo, Feitan, Meruem, Genthru, Razor, Morel and Kite. Future fighters are expected to arrive as DLC.
