The division of the different political forces to the left of the PSOE meant that in the municipal elections last Sunday the progressive space lost four important cities throughout the country. In Alcalá de Henares (Community of Madrid) the right-wing bloc prevailed over the left-wing one because Podemos-IU and Más País did not concur on a single list. In Aragon, the rupture of the space to the left of the socialists gave the city of Huesca to the right, where Podemos-Alianza Verde, Cambiar Huesca, Chunta Aragonesista and Verdes Equo presented themselves separately. And the same thing happens in Ponferrada (Castilla y León), where Podemos and Coalición por el Bierzo were on different lists or in Calvià (Illes Balears), due to the division between MÉS-Esquerra and Unidas Podemos.
