huawei has announced that on November 2 it will reveal the appearance and technical specifications of its new folding device, Huawei Pocket S, a ‘smartphone’ of shell type.
The Chinese company exhibited its latest folding terminal at the end of last August, the Huawei Mate Xs 2, which, unlike its next release, maintains the book format and offers up to 7.8-inch screen.
The previous clamshell folding smartphone was presented in December 2021, Huawei P50 Pocket, which is characterized by the gold color of the casing and the combination of two vertically aligned circles to house the rear camera and the external auxiliary screen.
Now the company has announced through Weibo that the successor of this will be called Pocket S and that it will be presented in China next November 2 at 7:00 p.m. (1:00 p.m. in mainland Spain).
In the video that accompanies this presentation you can see this model in different colors, which suggests that it will be available in a variety which includes black, white, green, pink, blue and yellow.
Likewise, the Asian technological manufacturer has indicated that in this presentation not only will the appearance of its new shell-type smartphone be known, but it will also allocate part of the presentation to brand new products.
Huawei has not given more details about the ‘smartphone’, although according to estimates by GSM Arena The device is expected to be equipped with two different platforms, depending on the model, Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 4G and Snapdragon 778G.
