How to try PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium for free (and play ‘Stray’ and other games)

The new PlayStation Plus arrived in Spain about a month ago with three subscription levels, each with different benefits. Thus, to immerse ourselves for the first time in the “Sony Game Pass” we had to checkout, being 8.99 euros the minimum individual payment to access the service for a month.

Now, Sony has enabled an ideal feature for all those people who want to try the service without spending money. The company allows try for free and for seven days PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium. Let’s see how to make the most of this opportunity and what advantages it offers.

PlayStation Plus free for seven days

Before you start you should make sure that you are new to the service. If you have previously subscribed to the new PlayStation Plus, this option will not be available to you. The first step is to enter the PlayStation subscription page Y choose between Extra or Premium levels (Essential is not included in this promotion).

Then you must choose if you want to subscribe for one month, three months or one year, click on add to cart, sign in with your PlayStation account, if you haven’t already done so, and continue the process with your preferred payment method. Once the process is finished, you will be able to enjoy the service at the chosen subscription level.

But this does not end there. If you don’t want to pay for the service you should be very careful and cancel the subscription before the end of the trial period. If you don’t, Sony will make the payment. Obviously, if you liked PlayStation Plus and want to keep the subscription, you should skip this last step.
